This is one of the most informative and interesting movies. Chand Sa Roshan Chehra is an Indian Punjabi romantic film directed by Mohit Suri. The movie released worldwide on 31 August 2016. The film stars Gurmeet Choudhary, Sonam Kapoor and Ankit Tiwari in lead roles with Prakash Raj, Shreshta Tripathi, Binnu Dhillon, Neena Kurup and Alka Yagnik also starring in pivotal supporting roles. It is co-produced by Bhushan Kumar under his banner Dhamma Day Productions (DDP). The supporting cast includes Diljit Dosanjh, Virender Khandelwal and Sajid–Wajid. The film was written by Gurmeet Choudhary and there were no songs composed by Pritam.The music of the movie is composed by Pritam and the lyrics for all the songs were written by Jassie Gill and Shabbir Ahmed. The song "Tere Sang Ho Mai" was penned by Jassie Gill and sung by Sona Mohapatra, which charted at 108 on the Indian music charts. It achieved sales of over 4 million units within four weeks of its release. The movie received mixed reviews. Film critic Taran Adarsh of Bollywood Hungama gave a review stating that "The film starts on a high note and the screenplay is tight and engrossing. The romance between the lead pair is well shot, that too without any distractions of loud music". A review from Moviezadda that gave praise towards the movie saying "Chand Sa Roshan Chehra is a romcom worth watching, if not more. There are some very good performances from Ankit Tiwari, Gurmeet Choudhary and Neena Kurle." Another positive review given by him was "Shreshta Tripathi impresses as the daughter in law". The movie also gave a great start to their careers. The film started well at the box office and earned approximately Rs 17.25 crores in the first week itself. The film fell down later on and ended up collecting a total of Rs 28 crores in its lifetime run.
